Join our workshop as we dive into the world of Microsoft Teams! Discover how MS Teams can enhance your communication, collaboration, and synchronization with Blackboard, empowering you to create a seamless and interactive learning environment.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Getting to Know MS Teams: Explore the main communication features of Microsoft Teams.

  • Virtual Meetings: Schedule and host virtual meetings/classes for real-time chat with your students. 

  • Collaboration Made Easy: Learn how to share files, use third-party tools, and make the most of additional features to collaborate effectively online.

  • Syncing with Blackboard: Learn to sync your Blackboard course with Microsoft Teams for efficient asynchronous engagement. Students can export their Learn calendar, including Teams chat sessions, into their Outlook calendar.

This session is ideal for instructors who are new to Microsoft Teams or who are interested in using it for the upcoming term.

Ben Amudzi, Instructional Technology Specialist, and Ada Crutchfield, Instructional Design Specialist, will facilitate this training.
