Description
The Anthology Innovative Educator Series provides a platform for faculty to explore the latest trends in digital pedagogy, collaborate on actionable solutions, and elevate the learning experience for every student. With three sessions, you’ll gain practical tools to enhance inclusivity, harness the power of AI for personalized learning, and captivate students in online and hybrid environments.
Join the April 11 session for a session focusing on strategies and tools to foster student engagement, collaboration, and active learning in digital, hybrid, and face-to-face classrooms.
- “AI Conversations in Action" - During this presentation, Ellis Reeves, the Director of Online Learning and Support at USC Aiken, will share how the university has integrated AI Conversations into various curriculums to enhance student learning outcomes while providing them with real world experiences. These AI simulations will change the landscape of higher education and how students get hands on (chat based) learning experiences.
- “Beyond the Screen: Cultivating Connection and Belonging in the Online Learning Experience” - This session, presented by Julia Spears, Ph.D., the Assistant Provost of Online Education and Certification at Marshall University, will explore cutting-edge strategies and tools that enhance student engagement, collaboration, and active learning in digital, hybrid, and face-to-face classrooms. Discover how Marshall's H.O.M.E framework, the new online teaching award, and the updated orientation for online students has helped us transform our teaching practices and create a more dynamic learning experience.
The session will be delivered in Webex.
