New to Creating Accessible Content with Microsoft Office Tools?
Join this session to learn how to create accessible content using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. We’ll walk you through essential accessibility features and best practices to ensure your documents are inclusive and user-friendly. Topics include:
- Clear and simple writing tips
- Using titles, subtitles, and headings effectively
- Adding alt text to images
- Choosing accessible fonts, formats, and colors
- Creating accessible tables
- Using built-in accessibility tools in MS Office Workspace
Whether you're just getting started or need a refresher improve your skills, this session will help you make your Microsoft office tools more accessible for everyone.
This session will be facilitated by Ada Crutchfield and Peter Ariev, Instructional Design Specialists.

At least 5 registrations are needed for this session to proceed as scheduled. The session will be recorded if two or more people attend and the link will be distributed to everyone who registered.

JOINING THE SESSION
This webinar will take place in a Google Meet virtual conference room. Enter the webinar up to 10 minutes before the start time. Visit the myUMBC Event post and select the "Join Online Event" button to join the Google Meet session.
